Torwick Lock & Safe ("we") is the data controller for the details you give us. This notice explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
When you ring, book or email: your name, phone number, the address of the job, and what you tell us about it. When we do the work: proof of identity or ownership that we check (we note that we saw it; we do not keep copies), photos of the door or safe, and the invoice.
Why we use it
To carry out the job you asked for, to send the invoice and guarantee, to give your insurer a report if you ask us to, and to meet our legal duties for tax records. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing unless you opt in.
How long we keep it
Job records and invoices for six years, for tax. Photos for 12 months after the job, or longer if you have an open insurance claim. Enquiries that do not become jobs for 12 months.
Who we share it with
Our accountant, our card payment provider, and your insurer or the police only if you ask us to. Our website host processes form submissions on our behalf.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to [the data protection regulator in your country].
